Cross-Duct Ultrasonic Flowmeter

iMassFlow 600 calculates the flow velocity of flue gas by measuring the time difference of ultrasonic wave propagation. It has a pair of ultrasonic transducers at a certain angle on opposite sides of the chimney or flue gas. The host is upstream of the flue gas, and the slave is downstream of the flue gas, alternately sending and receiving ultrasonic waves. The average flow velocity of the flue gas line in the ultrasonic transmission path was calculated. For large diameter flue, two pairs of ultrasonic transducers can be installed to form a master multi-slave device (only one control display device is needed), and the line average flow velocity of the two sound channels can be calculated to better characterize the flow field state of the flue.

Description

Corrosion resistant material

The sensor is made of titanium and 316SS casing material, and the probe rod is coated with Teflon paint to improve its service life in high temperature, high humidity, and corrosive gas environments

Accurate measurement

Using ultrasonic time difference measurement technology, accurate measurement can be achieved when the flue gas flow rate is less than 0.5m/s.

iMassFlow 600 ultrasonic gas flowmeter measurement algorithm, fuselage structure, installation structure have been applied for national patents. 
It can be used to measure the flow of gas from pipes, flues, exhaust gases and smoke tubes.It can work stably in high temperature environments up to 450℃(under purge air cooling).
