3-Axis Ultrasonic Anemometer
AR300 is a robust, reliable ultrasonic anemometer offering three-axis wind measurement data. It monitors wind speed of 0-60 m/s and provides sonic temperature, speed of sound and U, V & W vector outputs at 20Hz (30Hz optional). This 3D anemometer is ideally suited to the measurement of air turbulence around bridges, buildings, wind turbine sites, building ventilation control systems, meteorological and flux measurement sites.
Description
Ultrasonic measurement anemometer
The measurement is based on ultrasonic transit time, the time it takes for the ultrasound to travel from one transducer to another, depending on the wind speed.
Maintenance-free anemometer
No moving parts and resistant to contamination and corrosion;Reliability and precision on whole measuring range, no additional calibration required.
Optional output anemometer
Optional output X, Y, Z rectangular or U, V, W polar coordinates data.

AR300 is designed for scientific research applications with an asymmetric sensor head configuration,which allows for more accurate measurement of horizontal rows with minimum interuption of the prevalling wind.
